Margaret DiTulio, APRN, Medical Director of Regenix Healing LLC and Board Member of the International Society for Environmentally Acquired Illness has been appointed to the New Hampshire legislative commission to study environmentally-triggered chronic illness.

Margaret DiTulio, APRN commented:

“Participating on this commission will allow the full spectrum of environmentally acquired illnesses to be brought to the attention of all 30 stakeholders present.”

“It is a first step in active governmental participation in this critical area for public health.”

The New Hampshire legislature recognizes that nearly half of adults in the United States have at least one chronic health condition and chronic diseases are responsible for increased health care costs. Seventy percent of health care costs in the United States are for chronic diseases. Some chronic diseases are known or thought to be associated with environmental causes. According to the Centers for Disease Control, the state of New Hampshire has the highest rates of people with bladder, breast, esophageal, and pediatric cancer in the country. In addition, a double pediatric cancer cluster was identified in the seacoast of New Hampshire in 2014. Therefore, the New Hampshire legislature established the commission to study environmentally-triggered chronic illness.

Regenix Healing LLC is committed to the treatment of environmental illness, including tick born disease, mold toxicity, and heavy metal accumulation.
